Hello diememphis,
You said you checked the compatibility thread and made those necessary changes? If so I'd say use the old 'Run as Administrator' on the installer exe trick. I had Windows 7 tell me 'The Program may not have installed properly' box when I first installed Blitz not as administrator. It worked fine, but I reinstalled just to be sure. If you did make those changes from that thread, I'd get a fresh download to boot. -------------------- ![]() Captain Grade 3, Red Army Formerly TNXARCMEPTB "It is a fact that under equal conditions, large-scale battles and whole wars are won by troops which have a strong will for victory, clear goals before them, high moral standards, and devotion to the Banner under which they go into battle. |

Hi there. There is a known fix for this issue. Solution is copied from this topic: http://board.twowar.eu/index.php?act=Post&...&qpid=15050.
Issue: Installation comes up with a "installation ended prematurely becouse of an error" message and won't install. Problem: VBScript.DLL is not registered properly. Solution: Register VBScript.DLL Click the Start button (bottom left corner), type CMD in the search field at the bottom. An icon with the text CMD will appear in the top left part of the window. Right-click on it and select "Run as Administrator". Confirm this action if User-Access-Control requests it. In the command prompt, enter the following command: regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\vbscript.dll Press ENTER and the next line should have a message saying the registration was successful. You can now run the installation again and it will install correctly. -------------------- |
