Would there be a way to incorporate an option for commanders to enact 'Defenses' after a particular rank? Just as Support Tanks 'launch their assault', it might be interesting to see a feature that'd allow one or two additional gun emplacements at each of your factions owned factorys. Or perhaps just your owned Powerplants/Radio centers/Airfields rather than the war factorys themselves. Actually, Maybe just the War factorys, to give an option that'd prevent such easy number-rushes that result in FGun rage-quits when the factorys you just captured get ling-rushed. Might spur players to hold their ground and actually fight to hold what they took rather than run away to avoid death.
Another idea I had was incorporating a Recon option for commanders, sort of like Scout. Except you'd have to own the battlefields Airfield, and a plane or two would go over an area granting sight in Fog of War areas temporarily, activated with 30%fpw for use of your tanks radio, that is, if its recharged(normal commander length'd cooldown would apply to prevent spamming) -------------------- ![]() Captain Grade 3, Red Army Formerly TNXARCMEPTB "It is a fact that under equal conditions, large-scale battles and whole wars are won by troops which have a strong will for victory, clear goals before them, high moral standards, and devotion to the Banner under which they go into battle. |

If you notice at the bottom of your battlefield view when you are the map commander, there are certain boxes, which are map co options. These can be used at certain ranks. But your ideas are interesting as well, and shall be forwarded.

also, a new kit that lets you put a cannon/field gun/tochka at the place you request.
also, a skill to make a trench would be awesome too. -------------------- |

Trench might be a bit hard since you'd have to make the mechanics to allow you to place the line in the direction you want, but it'd be nice to have

you could have an animation of digging, etc and make it take time
then the trench could stay for 10-15 min.. -------------------- |
